Rachel Richards
LCSW
Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is certified in EMDR. She has a Master's in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
Rachel specializes in working with children, youth, and adults recovering from trauma. She helps children and teens experiencing anxiety and depression. She offers a compassionate and strength-based approach to therapy and is able to pull from a variety of modalities for a custom-fitted therapy. In addition to EMDR certification, Rachel is trained in yoga, play therapy, "inner child work", and therapeutic expressive arts because she recognizes that healing is a whole-body experience.
Rachel’s office is a welcome place for all, including those navigating faith transitions and religious trauma. She is also a EMDR consultant in training and offers weekly group and individual consultations for EMDR trainees.
On the weekends, Rachel enjoys reading a good book, getting messy with paints, and dancing in her kitchen.
