Liz Minnich

LPC, LCAS

Liz Minnich is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. She graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2014 and has since worked with populations that are struggling with either mental health disorders (such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma), addiction, or both.

Liz feels most effective treating adults and has 4 years’ experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brief Solution-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She holds the belief that every person is inherently good, lovable, capable, and resilient. Liz believes that her role is to support clients in discovering their true selves in a culturally sensitive, safe, and caring environment. She is committed to creating a space in which she and clients can work together by reflecting on the past and the present moment, and practicing new ways of being and connecting with others.

Outside of practicing therapy, she enjoys live music, the natural world, and spending time with her husband, pets, and friends”
